UX/UI Designer AI-Enhanced

About the Role

The UX/UI Designer plays a key role in creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences. This position involves designing, prototyping, and optimizing user interfaces while ensuring consistency across design systems and various platforms. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business goals and user needs. Additionally, the designer is expected to conduct research, usability testing, and iteration cycles to refine and enhance the overall user experience.

As digital experiences continue to evolve, this role also involves leveraging AI-powered UX tools and analytics to enhance design efficiency and data-driven decision-making. The designer will work with AI-driven insights such as heatmaps, behavioral tracking, and A/B testing to refine UI/UX strategies. Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and automation techniques will be valuable in optimizing workflows and maintaining scalable design systems.

 

Key responsibilities

1. UX/UI Design & Execution

  • Translate user needs and business goals into intuitive, functional, and visually compelling designs.
  • Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Maintain and expand design systems, ensuring consistency across products and platforms.
  • Conduct usability testing, user research, and competitor analysis to refine and validate AI-enhanced design decisions.
  • Work on responsive design solutions that optimize usability across desktop and mobile experiences.
  • Analyze behavioral analytics (heatmaps, user tracking, AI-assisted insights) to identify pain points and iterate on UI/UX improvements.

2. Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, AI engineers, and data scientists to ensure technical feasibility and a smooth design-development handoff.
  • Present design solutions to stakeholders, clearly justifying user research findings and strategic decisions.
  • Support junior designers by reviewing work and providing structured feedback.
  • Actively participate in design critiques, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative problem-solving.

3. Implementation & Development Support

  • Ensure design execution aligns with the intended user experience and technical constraints.
  • Collaborate with developers to review builds, refine interactions, and resolve inconsistencies.
  • Apply accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.1 compliance) and ensure UI elements meet usability standards.
  • Document design specifications and create handoff files for development.

4. Testing & Iteration

  • Independently conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing, ensuring findings influence AI-enhanced user experiences.
  • Leverage AI-driven analytics tools (e.g., heatmaps, user segmentation, behavioral tracking) to validate UX decisions and personalize experiences.
  • Develop A/B test variations for AI-powered UX patterns (e.g., predictive search, automated chat flows, smart recommendations).
  • Evaluate and fine-tune AI-driven user experiences based on real-time data, machine learning feedback loops, and A/B testing results.
  • Contribute to improving AI-driven interfaces through iterative design testing and optimization cycles.

5. Research & Process Improvement

    • Stay updated with emerging UX/UI trends, AI-driven design methodologies, and evolving automation workflows.
    • Proactively research AI-integrated UX trends, such as conversational UI, generative AI design, and adaptive user experiences.
    • Advocate for AI-assisted UX design tools (e.g., Figma AI, Framer AI, ChatGPT-powered design assistants) to streamline workflow efficiency.
    • Explore automation techniques for design system updates, ensuring AI-generated components maintain UX/UI consistency.

 

Qualifications and Skills

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in UI/UX design software (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience with wireframing & prototyping tools (InVision, Axure, Balsamiq).
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
  • Experience working with and maintaining design systems to ensure scalability and consistency.
  • Knowledge of usability principles, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1), and best UI/UX practices.
  • Experience with behavioral tracking, A/B testing, and AI-driven personalization methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted UX design tools (e.g., Figma AI, Framer AI, ChatGPT-powered design assistants) to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Ability to utilize AI-powered analytics tools for heatmaps, behavioral tracking, and automated UX insights.

Soft Skills

  • Problem-solving mindset: Ability to identify UX/UI challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Effective communication: Clearly articulate design rationale to team members and stakeholders.
  • Time management & prioritization: Ability to handle multiple projects, integrating AI-powered UX testing where applicable.
  • Attention to detail: Ensures pixel-perfect execution and maintains high design standards.
  • Proactive & self-motivated: Takes initiative in researching, learning, and improving UX/UI workflows.

Educational Background and Experience

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 0-3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing a range of impactful, user-focused projects.
  • Experience working in agile development environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven UX methodologies, including AI-assisted user research, predictive UI, and automation in design processes.
  • Experience using AI-powered design tools (e.g., Figma AI, Framer AI, ChatGPT-powered assistants) to streamline workflows and enhance decision-making.
  • Understanding of AI-driven analytics (heatmaps, behavioral tracking, A/B testing) to improve user experience strategies.
