Junior Front-End Developer

Job Summary

The Junior Front-End Developer is responsible for developing user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring functionality, performance, and responsiveness across all platforms. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, user-centric experiences and involves proactive learning, problem-solving, and adherence to development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Development and Maintenance

Build and maintain front-end components for both web and mobile applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Next.js.
Leverage Next.js features such as server-side rendering and API routes for optimized application performance.
Ensure designs function seamlessly across platforms, following responsive and adaptive design principles.
Write clean, maintainable, and optimized code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Use version control tools (e.g., Git, GitHub) for collaborative development and source code management.
Debug and resolve issues that impact usability and performance.

Web and Mobile Development

Develop responsive layouts that adapt across a range of devices and screen sizes.
Collaborate with designers to implement cohesive user experiences.
Contribute to mobile-specific features using frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or equivalent.
Implement reusable components using design systems or libraries like Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or others.

Scrum Practices

Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Break down tasks into user stories, update progress regularly, and ensure timely task completion.
Provide constructive feedback to improve team processes.

Responsive Development

Implement responsive designs to ensure seamless user experiences across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Follow front-end best practices for performance, accessibility, and scalability.

Cross-Platform Compatibility

Test and optimize front-end code to ensure functionality across browsers, devices, and platforms.
Proactively identify and resolve compatibility issues.

Team Collaboration

Work with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and product managers to integrate front-end solutions effectively.
Participate in sprints, team meetings, and planning sessions to ensure alignment on goals and timelines.

Proactive Learning and Innovation

Stay updated on the latest trends, frameworks, and best practices in web and mobile development.
Actively experiment with AI-based tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Figma AI plugins) to increase development efficiency, ideation, and prototyping speed.”
Stay up to date on AI trends relevant to front-end, including design automation, accessibility improvements, and user behavior analysis
Suggest improvements to user experiences and propose new features or enhancements aligned with emerging trends.
