Welcome to Geese — a platform that helps musicians showcase their work and connect directly with venues.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Geese mobile application (“App”).
By using the Geese App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect information that is necessary for your use of the Geese App.
2.1 Account Information
- Phone number (for login and verification)
- Artist or band name
- Genre and musical style
- Profile image and description
2.2 Authentication & Security
- OTP (One-Time Password) used to verify your identity during registration or login
- Device information for secure session management
2.3 Uploaded Content
- Performance videos and related metadata (file name, upload date, duration)
2.4 Profile Visibility
- Number of times your artist profile has been viewed by venues
Note: The Geese App currently does not collect analytics, behavioral tracking, or advertising data.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data only for essential service operations:
- Account Access:
To create and verify your Geese account securely using OTP. - Profile Creation & Display:
To allow you to create, update, and display your artist profile to venues. - Video Upload & Management:
To host and manage your uploaded performance videos within the platform. - Profile Insights:
To show the number of views on your artist profile (viewed by verified venue users).
4. Data Storage & Security
- All personal and uploaded data are stored securely in encrypted cloud systems.
- Only authorized personnel have access to user data for maintenance and troubleshooting.
- OTP verification helps ensure secure access and prevent unauthorized login attempts.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties.
Your artist profile and videos are visible only to verified venues on the Geese platform to facilitate hiring and collaboration opportunities.
We may share minimal data only if required by applicable law or to comply with legal processes.
6. Your Rights
You may:
- View or update your artist profile information
- Delete your uploaded videos
- Delete your account and all related data
Once your account is deleted, all data associated with it will be permanently erased within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Data Retention
Your personal data is retained as long as your Geese account remains active.
If you choose to delete your account, all related content will be permanently removed after 30 days.
8. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect service improvements or regulatory requirements.
The updated version will be published in the App with a new “Effective Date.”
